$39.95 or € 29.95
Want to watch your photo slideshows on the TV in the living room? Play music in every room in your house? Download videos to your computer, and stream them to your TV? TwonkyMedia manager makes it easy. With TwonkyMedia manager you can access your media, playlists or slideshows from any room in the house using a PC, gaming console or low-cost digital media adapter.
TwonkyMedia manager is open, standards-based software that supports more devices and platforms than any other digital media server. That means that you don’t have to stick with one brand when you’re buying electronics devices.
With TwonkyMedia manager, you can access online content on Flickr™, Photobucket™, Picassa™, and SHOUTcast™. TwonkyMedia manager works with the largest media collections-more than 100,000 files are no problem-and is capable of streaming multiple high-definition video feeds at once.
Mac users: TwonkyMedia manager for Mac® is coming soon… but in the meantime, check out TwonkyMedia server. It’s a popular, consumer-tested media server for the connected home with the same media sharing capabilities as TwonkyMedia manager, but it doesn’t have the user interface.
We want you to be successful in setting up your home network and using TwonkyMedia manager. Here are some recommendations for best results.
You'll need a new (i.e., fast) PC. We recommend:
• Microsoft Windows XP or Vista OS (32-bit only).
• 2.0GHz or faster dual core CPU.
• 2048MB of memory.
• Monitor with a screen resolution of at least 1024x768 pixels.
• 16-bit sound card and speakers or headphones.
• 50GB disk space for media storage.
You'll need a home network with a broadband Internet connection and a WiFi router or Ethernet. Your media should be on a PC or storage device connected to the home network. If you're running a firewall, you'll need to check your settings to make sure TwonkyMedia manager is not blocked. If you have multiple PCs you want to access, install TwonkyMedia manager on each one (up to 3 PCs are supported per licensed copy).
The best way to get started is to download the trial version and get it working on your own system. If you have questions, please check our support area. Once you've seen what TwonkyMedia manager can do, come back for a full license to the product.
